Why Public Speaking

In 2002, I created a presentation for a freshman seminar class on how to manage your time effectively. I delivered this presentation as a favor for one of my business professors. Little did I know the impact that it would have on the students that were in attendance. In 2009 my college professor reached out to me to let me know that two of the students that attended the presentation in 2002 emailed him to thank him for allowing me to speak to them and that they were still using the time management principles discussed during the workshop. No matter what industry I worked in, I always felt that I had unfinished business with the information that I wanted to share with college students. My professional career was evidence that I should be involved with training or coaching in some sort of capacity. In 2018 I attended a Speaker's Boot Camp that provided me with some insight on what I could be doing with my talents. I've launched my book and I'm eager to share my message with schools and businesses that can benefit from my workshops.

The Discussion

My message is designed to encourage individuals to attack everything that they do with a plan. I feel that everyone was born to be great and greatness is displayed when you excel in your talents. My message helps individuals organize their time in order to maximize their efforts to be the best that they can be. Everybody was born to be great, some people just need additional guidance to show them how to bring the greatness out of them.
